Up-date on Diane's Health Diane has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and feels better at least knowing what is causing her physical fatigue and pain. The doctors have her on a new medicine and it seems to be helping some. Please continue to pray for Diane that God would see fit to completley heal and restore her health. She hasn't felt normal in many years now and we are praying that things will turn around this year. We have experienced a very eventful first 1/4 of the year in 2009. The "Big Wedding" has been called off with no plans of being re-scheduled. We are very thankful to God that it all took place before they said "I Do" Ashley simply decided that she could not go through with the wedding because she felt as if they were not "Ready". Some things we don't understand but God has it all in control and we are truly thankful for that. It was tough for everyone but God has a great way of working all things out for our good!
CHURCH NEWS: We have just completed our Easter musical at the church and we did the presentation Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday Morning with over 1700 people attending over the weekend. There were 10 public professions of Faith as a result of the musical and we truly thank God for how he moved during the presentation of "The Eyes of Faith". Check out our church web site at www.gbchurch.net and we hope to have some video footage and pictures of the musical on there very soon.
The members of the church did most of the work and are the most servant oriented people we have ever served with. We have found it a joy and privilege to work with people that just "plain and simply" love the Lord and want to serve Him with their whole heart! God richly blessed us when he sent us to Gillionville Baptist Church and we praise Him for His goodness! If you are in the Albany area please take the time to come by and visit the church located at 4614 Gillionville Rd., Albany, Georgia. Our morning worship service begins at 10:30 AM.
OUR CHILDREN
Jennifer now 25 years old is working in Valdosta, Georgia. Jennifer is also working in a recording studio working on a new DVD project recording some of her songs. (the girl got her mom's talent for sure!) Jonathan now 21 years lives in Decatur, Alabama and started a new business (Anders Enterprises). He installs home theater systems in homes and businesses. Jonathan is also working at AT&T. Jonathan is enjoying his new (old) house in Decatur, Alabama just down the street from where Jeff grew up. Jennifer and Jonathan are all doing great and we are very proud of them. We just miss having them around but I guess that comes with them growing up.
